About the Role
We are looking for a female worker to join our team in Whickham. The position is to support 3 mature ladies with varying needs, each lady has their own unique personality and love meeting new people and have a great sense of humour. Looking for someone with an outgoing bubbly personality.
The ladies love to go out for food, going to the cinema, playing bingo, visiting church and spending time with the family. The shifts are variable including sleepovers (£62.64 for sleepovers).

Key responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being.
* Assist with mobility and transfers, which may involve heavy lifting as required.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behaviour.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to the relevant healthcare professionals.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties when necessary.
* Engage clients in social activities that promote interaction and mental stimulation.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in patient care or a related field is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of home care practices and senior care principles is beneficial.
* Familiarity with dementia care techniques and hospice care protocols is an asset.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach to client interactions.
* Basic first aid knowledge is preferred to ensure client safety in emergencies.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to maintain clear documentation and liaise with other professionals.
