I am working with a highly successful construction company who, due to continued success, are seeking a Construction Buyer to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis.
About You:
1. +2 years experience in a Buying/Estimating role within the construction industry
2. Previous work experience within the building/construction industry
Duties:
1. Compare, analyse and negotiate quotes for material procurement
2. Communicate with site teams on their current and future material procurement contract requirements
3. Contribute to the Company’s CSR initiatives
4. Ensure that quality materials are available for all contracts in line with the Contract Programme
5. Research suppliers/alternative products expanding the Company’s portfolio
6. Maintain accurate records of the performance of suppliers for future contracts
7. Other ad hoc duties
