Brightwork has an opportunity to join an established business as a Quality Control Operator. The purpose of the role is to ensure components are manufactured to the required standard by checking against drawings, BOMs and customer specifications, carry out product and process checks to ensure compliance using measuring equipment and functionally fitting / testing product. Perform general operative duties as required, re-working always highlighting any faults and maintaining the required level of productivity. Your Time at Work Ensure components are manufactured to required standard. Inspect/Assemble components and products to the required quality standards and customer specification. Ensure products are assembled and packed correctly as per the BOM's, drawings and customer specific requirements. (Notify supervision of any discrepancies). Undertake training as required. Maintain acceptable performance levels. Identify and recommend improved methods of work, effectiveness and efficiency via supervisor and departmental communication. Check product codes, Customer order codes & bar codes are correct when scanning or setting up bagging machine products. Demonstrate flexibility to cover in other departments and duties within the factory as required. Carry out process audits to demonstrate compliance. Our Perfect Worker Good Dexterity.
