We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team and help drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to our continued success.
Job Summary:
As the Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing strategic relationships with our key clients, which include universities, corporate veterinary practices, and hospitals. You will be responsible for client retention, satisfaction, and expansion, driving the adoption of our VPOP PRO Enterprise solution and ensuring client success through tailored support, strategic business reviews, and ongoing training. Your role will also include identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise revenue growth, ensuring that our clients get the most from our solutions. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication and organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts (including universities and corporate clients) to ensure their needs are met, and client satisfaction is maintained at the highest level.
* Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling VPOP PRO’s suite of solutions, particularly transitioning clients to higher-functioning versions such as VPOP PRO Enterprise Edition. Drive revenue growth through strategic account management and targeted sales initiatives.
* Client Retention and Satisfaction: Develop and execute strategies to ensure long-term client retention. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and needs, ensuring alignment with VPOP PRO’s solutions.
* Client Onboarding and Training: Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring clients are fully supported in adopting VPOP PRO. Facilitate webinars, training sessions, and workshops, ensuring users are equipped to maximise the value of our software.
* Strategic Account Planning: Work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to create and execute account plans, ensuring client success and driving product adoption.
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse client data and usage patterns to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide clients with detailed reports on their software usage and performance, offering insights into areas where they can derive more value.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with internal teams (e.g. Product Development, Customer Support) to ensure a seamless client experience. Liaise with the product team to provide feedback from clients and contribute to the product development process.
* Market Insight and Competitor Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and competitors to provide valuable insights to clients and contribute to VPOP PRO’s growth strategy.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven track record of driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
* Strong ability to manage strategic relationships with key clients, offering a consultative approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse client data and use insights to drive strategic decisions.
* Experience working with CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and data analytics tools.
* Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
* Proactive and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
* Full UK driving licence with the willingness to travel as needed.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience within the veterinary or educational technology sectors.
* Experience managing training programmes, including delivering webinars and client onboarding sessions.
* Understanding of orthopaedic surgery or veterinary practice would be an advantage, though not essential.
