Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Accountant to play a key role in the continued growth of one of the UK's fastest growing companies.
You will need to use your passion for finance to provide excellent accounting, tax, and financial services. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the accounts office reporting into the financial controller. Additionally, you'll also have enthusiasm and desire for continuous learning to support the team in their development, training, technical support, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the relationship whilst building a strong rapport with the wider company.
2. The completion of year-end accounts and Corporation Tax computations.
3. Training, coaching, and mentoring of colleagues.
4. Quality control and file reviews of colleagues' work.
5. Meet statutory deadlines for VAT, Payroll, Statutory Accounts, and Assessment Tax Returns.
6. Offer bespoke accountancy, taxation, and tax planning advice.
Skills & Experience:
1. Experience within an accountancy practice.
2. Previously been responsible for managing a portfolio of clients.
3. Part-qualified/Qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT) or equivalent commercial experience.
4. Proficient user of IRIS.
5. Enthusiastic team player with leadership attributes.
6. Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
