Package Description Senior Support Worker - Children's Homes Location: Lytham St Annes Salary: £25,958 - £27,175 per annum plus an additional £3k - £6k pa for sleep-ins (4 - 8 sleep ins per month at £62.64 per each) Hours: Full time long day shifts plus sleep ins. Full UK Drivers licence essential We are looking for a qualified, resilient and nurturing Children's Senior Support worker to join our family home, caring for children who have sometimes complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and your passion and knowledge will inspire the team to achieve the best outcomes for every child. A minimum of 12 months Children's home experience and a level 3 qualification in residential childcare which will be recognised in your hourly pay rate. Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models. Great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient. You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available. Full UK Driving licence is required.
