We are seeking a seasoned Senior People Business Partner to join our team at Mitie. In this strategic HR leadership role, you will partner with the Managing Director for Local Government & Education to drive business outcomes through effective people management.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in senior HR roles, requiring expertise in reward management, employee relations, talent management, succession planning, and organisational restructuring. They will be able to provide strategic HR leadership, create tailored people plans, and drive positive change in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
A key aspect of this role is developing and implementing people strategies that meet Mitie Group's strategic objectives. This includes managing HR cycles, providing professional HR solutions, developing policies, designing organisations, managing talent, recruitment, retention, workforce planning, cultural change, coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
Effective communication and influence are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong engagement and presentation skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and perform well under pressure.
The role requires travel across Great Britain as needed, providing on-the-ground support and strategic guidance to various teams and stakeholders. A proactive mindset and the ability to use initiative in a dynamic work environment are also essential.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, based on the company's requirements and industry standards.
