Assistant Project ManagerThe Assistant Project Manager at Urenco, based in Capenhurst, will play a critical role in managing and delivering low complexity projects (typically <£2m in lifecycle cost) through their full lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and Programme Lead, you will be responsible for setting up projects, coordinating reviews, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires proactive risk management, stakeholder relationship building, and extensive project management expertise. Additionally, you will support larger projects (up to £30m) as directed by senior project managers and programme leads. In addition to managing their own projects Assistant PMs will also work in support of Projects Managers or Senior Project Managers on larger Cat1 / Cat2 projects up to circa £30m as directed by their relevant Senior Project Manager & Programme Lead. Due to the nature of the matrix organisation that operates within Capital Programme Delivery and the varying size of projects within each project programme it is possible that an Assistant Project Manager could report into a Senior Project Manager and Programme Lead, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.
