Role Title: Student Voice Engagement Officer
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Fixed Term (Until July 2025) Full time.
Salary: £28,374 - £30,908
We currently have a vacancy for a Student Voice Engagement Officer to be part of our Learner Services department at Coleg Cambria.
This is a student-facing role designed to support wider learning outcomes for Coleg Cambria students outside of their main programme of study and improve their experience at college. The post-holder will coordinate cross-college learner voice and enrichment activities. They will inform developments and shape learner voice provision to maximise positive impacts, increase participation, retention and student satisfaction level.
Essential Requirements:
1. Ensure that the college promotes, supports and implements learner involvement across all courses and sites, via learner voice and enrichment activities
2. Work actively to support and facilitate the voice of all learners
3. Recruit and train student representatives and promote their participation
4. Enable the learners to contribute to planning, quality improvement and governance within the college using the framework of the Learner Involvement Strategy
5. Communicate effectively with all learners to encourage an ethos of learner involvement
6. Promote and support learners’ responsibility, active citizenship and self- development

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
