One of our client SEMH schools in the Totnes area is looking to appoint an Education Support Worker from January. This will be on a full-time, permanent basis and the successful candidate will be salaried directly through the school.

Salary: £23,940 per annum
The school is a small independent special school located in Totnes, with class sizes of roughly 2 to 5 pupils. They are looking to appoint an Education Support Worker who can provide individual support and supervision for pupils, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, and working towards agreed aims and objectives.
Requirements:
* Experience of working with children and young people
* An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
* Ability to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people
* High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm
* Good general standard of education to Level 2 including GCSE Grade 4 equivalent in English and Maths
* You will be required to transport pupils, so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car
