They are currently looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to work within the Outline Listening team.
Salary: £30,000 pro rata Hours: 21 hours per week (must be available to either work or be on call 7pm – 9pm on a Tuesday / Wednesday and Thursday) remaining hours can be worked flexibly during the week Duration: Initial 6 month FTC Company Benefits:

Location – Woking / hybrid
Working closely with the Operations and Volunteer Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating the smooth and effective running of the Outline Listening Service and develop the service in response to stakeholder feedback and needs of the community.
It is a hands on role developing rota’s and processes and managing a team of helpful volunteers and providing them with advice and support.
Key parts of the role will include:
Supervising the delivery of the helpline service Lead briefing sessions at the beginning and the end of shifts to newer volunteers and be the escalation point for concerns in client safety Monitoring and evaluating demand across the helpline to ensure effective service delivery Work with stakeholders to develop the service Develop listening service systems and processed to ensure it meets the needs of clients Manage a small team of volunteers, supporting them to operate in line with current guidance and best practise Reporting and gathering data from various systems This post is subject to a DBS check.
Please note past drug and/or alcohol or criminality history will not necessarily discount you from undertaking this role Our ideal applicant will have/be;
Ideally you will have experience in providing trauma informed helpline advise or support Leadership or mentoring experience would be beneficial but not essential Ability to work with data and create reports Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
