As part of an exceptionally busy Asset Management Team, you will be expected to deliver documented savings and efficiencies across a multitude of disciplines including account management, telecommunication licensing as well as digital hardware and software products.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
You will have exceptional administrative and organisational skills and offer full support across the entire scope of the Asset Management Team. Data analysis will form an integral part of this role especially in relation to the Trust's ITSM system and 3rd party organisation portals. Reviewing information in order to determine improved ways of working, process and cash savings will be the primary focus of this role. Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation and external suppliers. A detailed understanding of the Trust's telecommunication solutions would be advantageous.
Job responsibilities
* To provide comprehensive administrative service to support all aspects of work undertaken by the Digital Contracts and Asset Management Team including continuous improvement of systems.
* Maintaining all product service catalogues, ensuring they are up to date and include only supported versions of assets and licenses.
* Producing reports / analysing data on the allocation and distribution of assets, monitoring usage and identifying assets that are no longer used or end of life.
* Administrating asset / software / license replacement programmes.
* Maintaining records relating to software / licenses and reporting their usage.
* Support the distribution and replacement of mobile devices and telecommunication software / licenses.
* Producing reports on asset details and updating the asset management system.
* Processing accounts / asset management tasks relating to starters, movers and leavers.
* Identify efficiencies and savings across all aspects of the team's responsibilities.
* To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions.
Person Specification
Education
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level of qualification or significant previous proven experience.
* Achieved / working toward ITIL Foundation Qualification.
Experience
* Experience of working with a number of systems such as Procurement systems, Account Management systems and license portals.
* Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
* Working with a variety of staff at all levels within an organisation.
* Experience in working with Asset Management / account management processes.
* Work experience in the NHS.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the Trust's ITSM solution.
* Knowledge of account management processes and procedures.
* Knowledge of telecommunication licenses, applications and associated portals.
* Knowledge of software licensing.
* Knowledge of ITAM processes and procedures.
