Specific Responsibilities To Provide an effective and efficient service to ensure all manufacturing machinery and site services are maintained both electrically and mechanically through the planned maintenance schedule. To respond to breakdowns through in line with the priority system Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift on issue, cause and recommended solution To record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using Piranha system. To undertake servicing of machines and ancillary equipment as per the relevant schedules To carry out facility repairs and maintenance as per the schedule or as and when required To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement system To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the register To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs To ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all times To ensure all work is carried out to relevant legislation and EHS standards To support the efficiency improvements through engagement of ABS methodology & deployment General Company Support To undertake improvement activities that enable efficiency improvements to the plant Flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required. Education, Experience & Background Minimum 3 years’ experience of working within busy Manufacturing environment. Experience Operating a range of Machines would be advantageous. Qualifications Certification in Electrical & Mechanical disciplines Minimum 3 years’ experience of working within busy Manufacturing environment. (to include) Machining, motor controls, plumbing, welding, Pneumatics Familiar with the function and operation of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. heading, thread rolling, drilling, heat treatment would be advantageous.
