Join the Team as our Maintenance Officer
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)
At Arches Housing, we’re passionate about providing safe, warm, and well-maintained homes for our residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our properties and communal areas are in top condition, delivering a high-quality and customer-focused repairs and maintenance service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Inspect and monitor a variety of works to ensure they are delivered to a high quality and meet the requirements of our repairs and maintenance and estate management services.
* Ensure our homes and communal areas meet Arches’ quality standards and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with contractors and colleagues to deliver efficient repairs and maintenance.
* Communicate with contractors, customers and colleagues on progress and issues relating to reactive repairs, maintenance and stock improvement works.
* Provide technical advice and support to residents, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable.
* Maintain accurate asset records and data to support effective communication with customers and as part of business planning.
* Help us improve and innovate by keeping up with the latest industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in housing maintenance, property management, or construction.
* Experience in traditional and modern construction and maintenance techniques across a number of trades.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety in a maintenance and works environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* A team player with the ability to work flexibly, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities.
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
