Job Description
Elder St is a direct provider of a Women's Homeless Residential Unit that offers a full assessment and resettlement service for women affected by homelessness and associated traumas. You will be responsible for the management and coordination of the day-to-day running of the project, including staff, financial, and property management. You will work alongside partner agencies to ensure an integrated, effective service response to women affected by homelessness. You will collaborate with team leaders and care managers to ensure that agreed care plans are implemented and that support provided by staff meets Health and Social Care Standards. It is essential that applicants can work effectively with people at all levels using well-developed influencing and interpersonal skills. Expert knowledge of the service area is also essential. SVQ4 Social Care and an associated Management qualification is desirable.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme & SSSC will be essential upon taking up the appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
