The Strategic Account Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for strategic complex accounts management, overseeing the company’s relationship with its most important clients by understanding their needs and requirements. Also ensuring contract compliance and driving revenue and margin on these most important clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing trust relationships with various customer stakeholders and proposing solutions that meet their objectives and drive revenue opportunities throughout the contract term.
* Becoming the link between the customer, sub-contractors and Leica Biosystems to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues and problems.
* Actively reviewing and monitoring contractual compliance and managing counteraction and reporting out to internal and external stakeholders.
* Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
* Attending all meetings, conventions and training workshops and leading customer-facing Business Reviews.
This position is part of the Leica Biosystems UKI Sales Unit located in Milton Keynes UK and will be a fully REMOTE position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Work alongside a strong internal support team to ensure we exceed customer expectations.
* Conduct compliance business relationships with external companies who support our total solution. Become the link between the customer, sub-contractors and Leica Biosystems to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues and problems that may arise.
* Actively review and monitor contractual compliance and manage counteraction and report out to internal and external stakeholders.
* Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
* Attend all meetings, conventions and training workshops and lead customer-facing Business Reviews.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Having a B.Sc in Biomedical Science, preferably but not restricted to Cellular Pathology.
* Having multiple years’ experience of working in a Pathology Laboratory.
* Having multiple years’ experience selling into NHS Pathology Laboratories.
* Having direct experience of MSC Contracts and management of.
* Demonstrating strong communication skills and experience of developing relationships throughout various banding/levels.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
* Ability to travel – approximately 40% travel required with overnight requirements, within the UK.
* Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Strong organizational skills.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Fluent English speaking.

The salary range for this role is up to £65k per annum. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
