The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Architect, you will be part of a small team of architects tackling the IT wide obstacles that face us.
In this role you will have a range of responsibilities; from participating through the whole portfolio/project lifecycle and developing infrastructure roadmaps, to collaborating with stakeholders to assess business objectives and ensuring adherence to IT governance policies. You will be able to make your own mark on this position and be given ownership of your deliverables.
The successful candidate will have great problem solving skills, be able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities and ultimately have an entrepreneurial vision for technology and business growth.
Experience Requirements:
1. Comprehensive knowledge, coupled with extensive experience, of two or more cloud technology domains; i.e. Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless Resources (PaaS), Cloud Security.
2. Wide-ranging technical understanding and exposure to the Microsoft, or equivalent, suite of capabilities deployed in cloud environments.
3. Strong track record of designing, developing and deploying cost effective, secure and supportable solutions aligned to business strategy and outcomes.
4. Experience of technology landscape supporting infrastructure-as-code and automation of cloud resource deployment.
5. Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL and/or ISO 27001, or equivalent architecture, service management and security frameworks and best practice.
6. Evidence of developing cloud technology roadmaps and standards and making use of Enterprise Architecture toolkits.
