This is a Hybrid role, the Collections team work from our Cardiff City Centre Office 3 days per week. During your first 3 months you’ll be required to work 5 days a week in the office whilst you complete your training.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Engage directly with customers to negotiate repayment plans
2. Analyse financial situations to create tailored solutions
3. Ensure adherence to GDPR, FCA, and FDCPA regulations
4. Handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts effectively
5. Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards
6. Work with internal and external teams to support customer outcomes
We’re Looking For
1. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Financial acumen and experience with arrears management
3. Proven ability to manage challenging customer interactions
4. Experience using multiple communication platforms (email, SMS, etc.)
5. Ability to stay calm under pressure and persist in tough situations
6. Ideally, you have qualifications like the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) and 3+ years in financial services
