About the Role The Marketing Manager's supports the Director of Sales and Marketing in delivering the strategy and activity plan for the hotel, restaurant, bar and spa, including all marketing communications, marketing collateral, advertising and promotional activities both online and offline. With a particular focus on digital marketing, the Marketing Manager will take ownership of performance marketing, SEO, website content maintenance and CRM. All activities should be effectively de-livered within an agreed timeframe and budget with measurable ROI on all promotions. • To be responsible for managing and delivering the day-to-day marketing activity for the hotel in line with the agreed Marketing Strategy, to support the delivery of hotel revenue targets in terms of brand image and language. • Manage and update the website content and translation pages to ensure all information is current. • Manage day-to-day relationship with digital agencies for performance marketing, driving the best ROI for PPC, Display, Social, and SEO. • Oversee and implement CRM strategy including e-Newsletters direct to consumers, sales, travel agent and communications including database management. • Work closely with Revenue to develop competitive offers and promotions and activate them across marketing channels. • To be responsible for the management and growth of the hotel data and the targeted use of the database. • To manage online reputation of the hotel across third party listings and OTAs, maintaining our presence and seeking new marketing opportunities and cross exposure. • To manage current eCommerce offering including gifts and vouchers as well as develop new eCommerce opportunities. • To be responsible for tracking campaign success to enable us to understand the return on the investment of each activity and aid future promotion plans through effective reporting. • Work closely with the communications team to share knowledge, best practice and experience. • Responsible for managing individual projects, connecting with key stakeholders in the business to activate 360 campaigns. • Maintain and manage relationships with the brand marketing team at the corporate office, take responsibility for executing brand plans on property. • To manage design/third party agencies in relation to hotel collateral and promotional business. • Seek new digital marketing opportunities to help grow performance. • To be responsible for the production of a monthly and end of year marketing report for the hotel detailing key achievements, activities undertaken and future key initiatives. • Support on social media planning, execution, and reporting. • Support the Sales and Marketing Leaders in events, trade shows and, where appropriate, supporting the other departments during key areas of activity such as special events. • Undertake industry research as required (awards, competitors, website, advertising, third party promotions etc). About you A subject matter expert in digital marketing tools and principles, such as social media, SEO, and analytics, with demonstrable, mandatory experience in these areas. A proficient user of marketing and design tools. An engaging and creative communicator, with excellent presentation and writing skills. An organised and result-oriented mindset, with strong analytical skills. Collaborative and inclusive, with an ability to work with a range of different stakeholders on various projects at once.
