The Role
1. Line management of research nurses, including the hiring and training of new staff
2. Ensuring procedural compliance
3. Overall supervision, development and implementation of study delivery strategies
4. Improvement, development and roll out of SOPs
5. Maintain relevant reporting and documentation according to the study requirements and ensure appropriate practice of this amongst the team
6. Promote and adhere to the company SOPs, protocols and Health and Safety Regulations

7. NMC Registration is essential
8. Clinical Research knowledge/experience.
9. Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/Previous experience in a clinical trial setting
10. Valid Immediate Life Support certification
11. Completed Immunisation and Vaccination (DPC Healthcare providers)
12. Sound clinical knowledge
13. Ability to delegate and supervise
14. Competence in the recording of medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy and the ability and willingness to learn new skills
15. Demonstrated ability to manage a Team of clinical professionals and create a productive, satisfying work environment
16. Ability to work with a degree of flexibility and multi-task
17. Demonstrated Leadership and strong motivational skills
18. An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality
19. Good IT skills including Word and Excel
20. Previous demonstrable experience of managing the workload of a nursing team
21. Experience working within the UK healthcare structure a minimum of 12 months
22. Well-developed knowledge and understanding of clinical supervision
23. Experience in delivering clinical training
