The Quality Systems & Audit Manager is responsible for managing and improving the company’s quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 17020. This role involves planning and executing internal and external audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. The Quality Systems & Audit Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are met throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 17020, and other relevant standards.
2. Ensure QMS documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to all relevant personnel.
3. Conduct regular reviews and updates of quality policies and procedures.
2. Audit Management:
1. Plan, schedule, and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
2. Prepare audit reports, identify non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
3. Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
1. Stay current with industry regulations and standards, and ensure the company’s QMS remains compliant.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
3. Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and manage compliance documentation.
4. Continuous Improvement:
1. Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements across the organization.
2. Utilize quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis, to drive improvements.
3. Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Risk Management:
1. Conduct risk assessments related to quality management and regulatory compliance.
2. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues.
3. Monitor and report on risk management activities and outcomes.
6. Team Leadership:
1. Mentor quality assurance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
2. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
