Our client is a marketing SaaS solution helping mid-market and enterprise brands easily collect and share user-generated content to activate sponsorships, increase brand engagement and sentiment!
Marketing is now more focused than ever on brand activation through the distribution of organic content, and our client is at the forefront of this wave.
They have achieved enormous success through Founder-led sales, and it is now time to grow the team with an Account Executive!
Key Highlights:
* Currently, it has a £1m ARR from 30 customers, including world-leading organisations such as the International Cricket Council, Live Nation, New Balance, the Davis Cup, KIA, Formula E, and Universal Music.
* £18k ARR ACV. The largest client spends £285k annually; the average spend per client is trending upwards. 3-6 month deal cycle.
* Strong ROI delivery to clients: 7x increased engagement minutes, 10x higher click-through rates, and 5x higher form conversion. This leads to a more engaged fan/customer base, higher sales, and increased sponsorship activity.
* 10 people in the whole company - grown profitably and sustainably without extensive VC funding.
* Coming in as the first dedicated salesperson to partner closely with the CEO to build the commercial function. The CEO has found repeatability and is ready to take sales to the next level!
* Opportunity to progress into sales leadership - progression is based on merit.
* Proven effective lead generation strategies where messaging has been tried and tested. This includes outbound, referrals and from incoming marketing support.
* Realistic target of around 3x OTE.
* £75k - £85k base x 2 OTE + stock options + remote working (with some occasional travel into London).
The Role:
* Closing 5-6 figures deals with mid-market and enterprise brands, music labels, sporting organisations and any other organisation looking to engage consumers through content.
* Prospecting activities to build the pipeline via outbound including market research, mapping, phone calls, LinkedIn and emails.
* Running the full sales process from discovery to demo to close using a known sales framework such as MEDDICC or Challenger.
* Consistently hitting and achieving targets set by the company - targets are achievable and exceeding targets is highly incentivised. Targets will be around 3x of your OTE.
* Close working with the broader team to contribute insights that will continue building on the success of the GTM function. You will be taking over some of the pipeline from day 1!
* Keeping records in the CRM up to date and accurate - reporting is essential to the client so they can get the insight required to develop the sales function further. This will also help with accurate forecasting and understanding of where new resources should be deployed.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years experience selling solutions with a 5-6 figure ACV ARR. Bonus if you have sold mar-tech to marketing teams.
* Willing and able to do your own outbound lead generation.
* Self-starter and proven track record in an early-stage start-up. You must lead deals from the front and bring in the relevant internal teams where necessary.
* Good written and verbal communication is essential, you will be liaising with top executives.
* Are professionally trained in known sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
* Happy to work remotely with occasional travel to London.
* Excited by a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
