Client Onboarding Executive £28,000 - 30,000 dependent on experience
Location: Guildford
Working Hours: 9-5.30 Monday to Thursday and 9-5 on Friday, all with 1 hr lunch break. During probation (minimum 3 months) office based and after this, can work from home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Senior Onboarding Executive with the management of the client onboarding process, focusing on client due diligence (CDD) and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.
2. Perform in-depth CDD and AML checks on new and existing clients to assess their risk profiles.
3. Ensure that client documentation and information are accurate and up to date.
4. Investigate and analyse client backgrounds, business activities, and ownership structures.
5. Identify and escalate any high-risk or suspicious client profiles to the AML compliance team.
6. Implement and enforce AML policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with UK regulations.
7. Monitor and report any unusual transactions or activities to the AML team that may indicate potential money laundering or fraud.
8. Keep up to date with evolving AML regulations and implement necessary changes in the client onboarding process.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
10. Communicate CDD and AML requirements to clients and guide them through the process.
11. Address client inquiries and concerns related to CDD and AML.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Strong understanding of CDD and AML procedures.
3. Proven experience in client onboarding, CDD, and AML within the legal services sector.
4. Excellent client care skills.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
8. Understands and adheres to regulatory and compliance procedures at all times.
9. Demonstrates an understanding of, and alignment with, the values of the firm.
