What you’ll do The Data Centre Technical Authority’s prime responsibility is to ensure optimal management of all aspects of Vodafone UK Data Centres Technical infrastructure standards, demand, planning & audit with particular emphasis on technical Infrastructure delivery for Enterprise Business Cloud and Hosting customers. This role will provide management of all technical infrastructure standards, demand, planning & audit for Vodafone Data Centres, including Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) ownership & reporting aspects. The role will support both Technology and Enterprise services requirements. Main responsibilities: Manage and own Data Centre infrastructure standards/technical design & allocation. Optimise infrastructure space and energy within Vodafone UK Data Centers. Support design of VF UK IT/Technology solutions, from Data Centre device aspects (bandwidth, power, space) Trend analysis and forecast reporting using DCIM. Who you are You must have SC clearance or willing to be Vetted to SC Clearance. Proven expertise of managing device capacity demand within telecoms and/or IT industry Understanding of modern infrastructure technologies, compliance and certification aspects Knowledge of telecoms products\services Knowledge of Cloud technologies Capability to understand and influence solution design, in order to ensure optimised energy aspects Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
