Director of Engineering at Trans-Rak International
Trans-Rak International are the world leaders in the design and manufacture of vehicle racking systems for containers. Working with over 50 of the world’s largest organisations, enabling the safer and more efficient shipment of vehicles around the globe. We invent, design and manufacture a range of racking systems, tailored to each manufacturers’ requirements, to reduce their logistics costs and damage rates.
We are seeking a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to support the management team with the Sales and Lead Management process. The role will require the handling of all initial enquiries through to supporting management with securing orders and ensuring they are managed effectively, supporting the team, and driving the overall efficiency and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Handling and Qualification:
1. Manage incoming enquiries, ensuring they are logged and acknowledged promptly.
2. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to assess potential and suitability.
3. Assign leads to the appropriate sales representatives, ensuring timely follow-up.
4. Overseeing the progression of leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring no opportunities are missed.
5. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all sales activities.
6. Identify stalled leads or deals and collaborate with the sales team to re-engage.
1. Follow-Up and Communication:
1. Ensure timely and professional follow-up on all leads.
2. Coordinate communications between potential clients and sales representatives.
3. Manage all client-facing documentation, such as proposals, contracts, and quotes.
1. Team Support and Collaboration:
1. Serve as the central point of coordination for the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and collaboration with Marketing.
2. Work closely with the Marketing team.
1. Client Handover:
1. Oversee the seamless transition of closed-won deals to the appropriate fulfilment or account management teams.
2. Ensure all relevant client details are documented and passed on.
1. As well as these key responsibilities, support to the management team in the day to day running of the business will be required as requested from time to time by the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Analytical skills to evaluate sales performance and process efficiency.
* High attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships.
* Computer literacy with Office 365 (Word, Outlook etc), scanning and file sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with sales strategies and lead qualification techniques.
* Proven experience in sales administration, lead management, or a similar role.
* Experience with CRM systems or sales tracking tools (preferably HubSpot).
* Experience in generating and interpreting sales performance reports.
* Background in supporting sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to these requirements, the role requires someone who is used to working in a small team on their own initiative, motivated to be successful and able to multitask in a friendly and supportive environment.
