Who can apply?
Applicants must be completing a placement as part of a degree course at a UK University, either through Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year.
Please note that we will only consider candidates who have applied by completing the Pfizer Placement Application Form. Candidates who do not complete and attach the application form will NOT be considered.
Department Overview
The International Labelling Group (ILG) works within a matrix organization and provides physician and patient labels for nationally approved products to global markets. ILG revises more than 10,000 labels a year. Labeling at Pfizer is currently undergoing revolutionary changes given its shift towards the use of generative artificial intelligence, structured data, healthcare interoperability and digital health.
What can I achieve and what will I be accountable for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?
* To produce labelling related documentation for submission to health authorities.
* To support data management for labelling activities including global document management system and Pfizer approved labelling tracking system.
* To support projects involving the use of current and new technology and processes to support global management of labels.
* Support digital transformation initiatives and assist with labelling data analysis.

When can I start?
Placements will start on 1st September 2025 and will run for 12 months.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Type of person we are looking for:
* Currently studying a degree course in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or other life-sciences degree, Engineering (Chemical, Biomedical/Bioengineering etc)
* Interest in product labelling worldwide
* Good analytical skills and wants the opportunity to work with real world data
* Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
