Social Worker (Safeguarding Hub)
Liquid Personnel is on the lookout for a Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Hub in Cumbria. A hybrid role, the position entails safeguarding children, collaborating with various stakeholders, providing legal support, maintaining records, and engaging in community outreach. Candidates should be committed to continuous professional development and child welfare.
Responsibilities:
* Child Advocacy: Champion the rights and welfare of at-risk children, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans.
* Team Leadership: Lead collaborative efforts with families and professionals to coordinate child welfare services.
* Legal Representation: Prepare court reports and represent children’s interests in legal proceedings, ensuring their rights are protected.
* Record Management: Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all child-related cases and interventions.
* Professional Growth: Pursue ongoing education in child protection laws and practices, and participate in skill-enhancing training.
* Community Outreach: Promote child safeguarding awareness and conduct educational workshops within the community.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Social Work or related field.
* Registration with relevant professional body.
* Proven experience in child protection services is highly desirable.
