Senior Quantity Surveyor – Joinery & Interior Fit-Out
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading company within the specialist joinery and interior fit-out industry. With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are looking for a dedicated professional who can manage and oversee the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for projects.
* Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
* Oversee the financial management of projects, from inception to completion.
* Advise on cost variations and ensure accurate project reporting.
* Ensure compliance with all financial and contractual obligations.
* Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in quantity surveying within the joinery, fit-out, or construction sectors.
* Strong knowledge of contract law and financial management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* MRICS qualification or working towards it is desirable.
* Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
