As a Team Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated professional Support Workers, focused on delivering a person-centred, bespoke care service that genuinely enhances the lives of the young individuals we support. You'll lead by example, fostering the highest standards in all aspects of care. We are a rapidly growing business so this is an exciting time to join. Flexibility is key, as you’ll need to travel and stay away from home during your rotation. As a team manager your will: Lead the way in driving a positive culture : create an inspiring team environment with open communication and support. Manage staffing rotas: ensuring 'in ratio cover' is in place at all times, liaising with higher management to proactively plan for gaps in the rota such as annual leave. Welcome new members of the team: carry out thorough inductions and training for new Support Workers joining your team. Support and develop your team: conduct regular and meaningful 1-2-1s and supervisions with your team to provide guidance, celebrate success and ensure professional development. Lead by example: oversee and lead day-to-day operations of the placement, ensuring compliance whilst also providing the highest level of care and support to your Young Person. Shape the future of PCG: take an active part in Support Worker interviews via MS Teams and Support Worker assessment days. Requirements What we are looking for: Experience and expertise: ideally 3 years experience within the care sector in both support and management roles. Qualifications: Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); willingness to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Full right to work in the UK and a full UK manual driving license are essential. Flexibility: shifts typically follow a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including both 12 hour day and 12 hour waking night shifts, often your day shifts will be followed by a sleep in. There are a number of our services which may operate outside of this so flexibility is key.
