Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
Diagnose equipment failures using electrical drawings to minimise downtime.
Perform scheduled maintenance, ensuring safety compliance.
Manage stock control systems and ensure parts availability for maintenance and repairs.
Install new equipment and replace motors or control systems as required.
Carry out mechanical tasks, including work in confined spaces and maintaining equipment.
Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience Required
Practical experience with electrical or industrial control systems.
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Understanding of LV systems and experience using wiring diagrams.
Strong fault-finding abilities with a proactive approach.
Ability to work late shifts and available for emergency breakdowns.
