Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the childrens home, ensuring a high standard of care. Lead, manage, and support a team of residential care staff. Develop and implement individual care plans that support childrens emotional, social, and educational needs. Ensure the home operates in line with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Maintain strong relationships with external agencies, families, and stakeholders. Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively. Prepare for and lead inspections, ensuring continuous improvement. Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role within a childrens residential setting. Strong knowledge of requirements, safeguarding, and children's care regulations. Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including some on-call responsibilities.
