Certification Systems Coordinator / Quality Management Systems required for a leading test and research organisation based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This well-established and respected company provide specialist laboratory and testing services to a range of industry sectors within the UK and worldwide. The Certification Systems Coordinator will be working in a department dedicated to PPE Product Certification against both the EU and UK PPE Regulations and operating a robust UKAS and INAB accredited ISO 17065 quality management systems (QMS). The successful job holder will take ownership of the department’s QMS and be responsible for: Maintaining and improving the internal ISO 17025 quality system Working with the Quality Team to plan, schedule and oversee internal audits of the ISO 17065 QMS Conducting gap analysis of new product working groups, intended to capture and develop product knowledge and technical capabilities Co-ordinating external committee attendance, maintaining and circulating resulting documentation Monitoring and updating external systems to notify key stake holders of significant Certification decisions Coordinating departmental training activities Developing, reviewing and revising internal and external documents to ensure clear, accurate and efficient communication with stakeholders Implementing, analysing and reporting on quality metrics and KPIs Applications are invited from candidates with the following background / experience: Minimum of A-Level qualifications in a science based subject or Maths or laboratory / certification body experience Highly organised with excellent analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in assessments, documentation and compliance verification Demonstrable problem-solving skills Committed to learning on the job, staying updated with the latest regulations, standards and industry practices Desirable skills / experience (non-essential): Knowledge of UK and EU regulations related to PPE including the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Experience of ISO 17065 quality management systems or working within an ISO 17025 accredited lab environment Benefits include: Competitive salary Flexible working hours - 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 25 to 30 days (service related) annual leave plus bank holidays Life Assurance Group Personal Pension Plan Income Protection Free parking The Certification Systems Coordinator’s position offers a great opportunity to join an independent company involved in laboratory test and research with technical facilities in the UK, Europe and China.
