The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry and a strong background in PLC/SCADA systems. This role involves designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems that ensure operational excellence and compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and Maintenance: Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and control panels for manufacturing and process equipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure system reliability and performance. Automation and Control: Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to optimize production processes. Integrate automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and other industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation, including electrical schematics, validation protocols, and testing records. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and R&D, to support project objectives. Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams. Project Management: Lead or support engineering projects, including upgrades, expansions, and equipment installations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent) and SCADA systems. Knowledge of electrical standards, wiring regulations, and safety protocols. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with validation processes and documentation. Knowledge of HVAC systems and cleanroom environments. Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools and techniques. Proficiency in CAD software for electrical schematics.
