Our client is one of the UK's leading glass suppliers and processors of glass products in the UK. They specialise in bespoke single and high-end glass processing, laminate glass, and Insulated Glass Units. They have an exciting opportunity to join their office team in Northampton as an Office Administrator.
Role and Responsibilities
The key responsibility is to support the sales team and offer an exceptional level of customer service and professionalism.
Key Tasks Include:
1. Servicing the needs of existing customers
2. Processing orders
3. Assisting the external sales team with appointments and leads
4. Establishing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base
5. Producing pricing and quotations
6. Collecting customer feedback and market research
7. Keeping up to date with products and competitors
8. Resolving or directing customer enquiries efficiently to maintain an exceptional level of customer service
9. Providing an exceptional level of after-sales support and troubleshooting assistance
10. Working closely with other departments to support and assist when required
11. Following marketing leads and enquiries generated
12. Maintaining a good working knowledge of the business product portfolio
13. Actively exploring opportunities for improved processes and procedures
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and telephone skills, experience in processing orders and data entry, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in a collaborative work environment. Experience within the glass, window, or door industry is essential.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday.
