Director of Sales, Marketing & Communications
Salary - £100k-£120k
Contract – Permanent, Full time
Location – Hybrid (2-3 days London)

Reporting to our CEO, this role offers the chance to creatively bring your ideas to life in a forward-thinking charity. You’ll shape strategy as part of the Executive team and be hands-on leading the sales and marketing functions. You’ll bring a proven track record of growing a business, increasing brand awareness, and driving sales. A bit about the role…

* Lead, coach, and develop the sales and marketing teams to enhance a high performing team
* Overall responsibility for sales, marketing and internal communications, driving a cohesive strategy which hits our social, strategic and financial goals
* Provide strategic direction, unified alignment and prioritisation based on business need
* Create a strategy to gain further growth in our sector, and continue to strengthen brand reputation for all our audiences
* Work collaboratively across the business to optimise occupancy levels across our nurseries
* Build and represent our LEYF brand as an influencer and pioneer in the sector
* Create the medium to long term plan to build a pipeline of students for our newly formed London Institute of Early Years programmes
* Ensure an effective approach to build our employer brand in a competitive marketplace
* Create a buzz across our employees through a fun and engaging internal coms strategy
* Track and analyse sales and marketing performance metrics and market trends, providing regular insights and agile reactions

* Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, cost, and evaluating ROI
* A smart problem-solver with the ability to assess and improve partners, tech and approach
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to represent LEYF at a senior level with resilience to influence a wide range of stakeholders
