Job Title: Performance Insight Lead

About the Role
We are looking for a confident and analytical leader who can deliver vital performance insights across all levels of our organization. Your ability to translate complex data into meaningful actions will be key to driving operational improvements in our Clean Water Networks.
As a Performance Insight Lead, you will play a crucial role in aligning operational performance with our upcoming AMP8 objectives, working closely with data teams, regional capabilities, and frontline staff. Your focus will include Leakage, Interruptions to Supply, CMEX, and CRI, ensuring a standardized view of performance and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on learning from failure, driving efficiency, and embedding sustainable change through data-driven decision-making and frontline collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the review and alignment of operational performance, driving year-on-year improvements.
2. Work with internal data teams to create a standardized performance view and interpret key metrics.
3. Collaborate with regional teams and frontline staff to implement improvement initiatives.
4. Develop and implement strategies to learn from failure and improve network efficiency.
5. Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to drive cultural and operational improvements.
What We’re Looking For
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with senior managers and frontline staff.
8. Good reporting capabilities, including working knowledge of internal systems and data visualization.
9. Understanding of Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) and their financial impact.
10. Experience in reducing supply interruptions and improving operational network performance.
11. Proven analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
12. IT proficiency, including strong MS Excel skills.
13. Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
