Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* To perform middle office functionalities in handling operation work e.g. bilateral / syndicated loans / guarantees etc. by liaising with clients/agents/relationship managers in providing instructions to Global Services Centre based in Dublin for loan processing.
* Monitor if any past due items of transactions on the previous date and liaise with Relationship managers/Credit Risk department/local operation team/local treasury / Global Service Centre Dublin for settlement.
* Monitor sufficient funds for loan settlements in Flexcube.
* Daily reconciliation to the loan ledger report on loan movements made by Global Service Centre, Dublin.
* To observe and comply with all the established operation/procedure manuals and guidelines.
* To answer the enquiries of stakeholders incl. internal and external in relation to the team operations.
* Weekly catch-up call with Global Services Centre, Dublin.
* To review drafted facility letter and agreement and provide comments on operational perspective.
* Perform credit limit control and ensure all credit terms and conditions are in compliance with credit approval as well as credit policy.
* Maintain and update credit limit in mainframe systems.
* Filing and safekeeping of duly executed credit/security as well as account opening documentation.
* Follow up with relevant stakeholders to receive condition subsequent, covenant document as well as financial covenant checking result within the prescribed timeframe in loan documents/credit approval.
* Handle ad-hoc project/assignments as required.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
* 5+ years experiences in middle office / loan administration / credit administration in Banks or Financial Institutions preferable working in a regional hub.
* Solid experience in loan administration / middle office.
* Good knowledge of corporate banking product.
* Languages: Fluent English (incl. spoken and written), Cantonese and Mandarin.
* Sensible and logical thinking.
* High efficiency and accuracy in handling high volume work.
* MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Shift duty on Hong Kong holidays is required to support regional offices i.e. Singapore, Shanghai.
Qualifications:
* University Graduates or equivalent.
