TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded local accountancy firm seeking to expand their tax team by hiring a talented and motivated Personal Tax Assistant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and other private clients.
* Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Advising clients on a wide range of personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and other tax planning opportunities.
* Supporting junior team members, reviewing their work, and providing mentorship and training as needed.
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving any issues and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Identifying opportunities to enhance client service and grow the firm’s tax portfolio.
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal tax, ideally within an accountancy practice.
* Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning.
* Proven experience in managing a client portfolio.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Leadership qualities, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
* Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
