Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor to join a dynamic and growing Pensions team. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to develop their expertise in pensions law, working with clients across the private and public sectors on complex and high-profile pension matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on a wide range of pensions-related matters, including pension scheme governance, regulatory compliance, funding, and pensions litigation.
* Drafting and reviewing documents related to pension scheme documentation, trustee resolutions, and member communications.
* Assisting with pension scheme mergers, restructures, and corporate transactions.
* Supporting senior lawyers on contentious pension matters and providing advice on pension disputes.
* Liaising with clients, counsel, and third-party advisors, managing client relationships and expectations.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in pensions law and the regulatory landscape.
* Contributing to business development activities, including client meetings, pitches, and presentations.
Key Requirements:
* Newly qualified solicitor or with relevant experience in pensions law (or a strong interest in the field).
* Demonstrable interest in pensions law and the wider regulatory environment.
* Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as taking initiative when required.
* A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ideally, you will have completed a relevant seat during your training contract or have gained exposure to pensions-related work.
