Bolton School's Finance Department is seeking to recruit a highly organised individual to support the Finance Manager and the wider team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and accurate management of the School’s financial operations, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contributing to the smooth running of both financial and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field, such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have excellent numerical and analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations, including VAT. Proven experience in financial management is required, along with a strong grasp of double-entry bookkeeping.
