Purovets have an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon with an interest in medicine to join the friendly team at a renowned veterinary hospital in Derbyshire. You will be at the front line of delivering exceptional care and play an integral part of each one of the practice sites in the area. From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, you will work directly with patients and clients to offer care that is bespoke to them and provide essential support to colleagues in delivering exceptional care.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week over four days with 1 in 4 full weekends. Part-time applications are welcome and they are open to being flexible about what works for you. The role would involve two days on wards and two days on consults per week and a certificate in medicine is not essential. They can support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
You will be working alongside experienced vets who are dedicated to providing fantastic services to clients in the area. Their mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means you will have the very best equipment and treatment options available to you. The practice is well-equipped with six consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, three sterile theatres, separate suites for diagnostics, dental facilities, digital x-ray, two staff rooms and much more. The hospital works to high standards throughout and is dedicated to delivering amazing client and patient care.
You will be working with Alfreton, a market town in Derbyshire, England known for its industrial heritage and picturesque countryside. Situated in the Amber Valley, it boasts historic landmarks, scenic parks and exciting shops, restaurants and bars. With a vibrant community and easy access to the Peak District, it is a charming destination for visitors and commuters alike.
