The Role We are looking for an empathetic and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a child with SEN needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop key skills. Key Responsibilities Providing 1:1 support to a child with SEN, adapting learning activities to meet their individual needs Supporting the child's social, emotional, and academic development in the classroom and beyond Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to implement strategies and interventions Encouraging positive interactions and engagement with peers Helping to create a calm, structured, and encouraging learning environment What We're Looking For
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for SEN support
* Previous experience in a 1:1 or SEN support role (desirable but not essential)
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children and colleagues
* A proactive and flexible approach to adapting learning strategies
* A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative school environment
* A relevant TA qualification or willingness to train is advantageous
