IBA Liaison\n\nThe Role: IBA / Liaison Associate \n\nWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone with IBA / Accounts experience to join our Operations team based at our St Giles office in Liverpool. The purpose of this role is to process and control accounting transactions and act as a liaison between the IBA finance team and business colleagues relating to the accounting activities associated with our clients’ insurance policies. \n\nThis role is instrumental in protecting our clients’ money under the CASS 5 rules whilst providing an efficient and compliant service to our stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nEmail and telephone queries: To solve queries with internal stakeholders and external partners.\nReconciling our two systems, Acturis and Circus, ensuring details such as Premiums, Commissions, Introducers etc are correct\nAssist in Cash Allocations\nTraining: Keep up to date with any CPD training requirements.\nAd Hoc Tasks: Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the IBA finance team to contribute to the overall success of the department.\nHave an excellent understanding of the end-to-end insurance transaction process \nProvide knowledge and support across several insurance broking platforms, ideally Acturis\nLiaise with various group functions, maintaining excellent working relationships\n\nSkills \n\nYou will need to have and Insurance / Finance background \nYou will need to be organised, have good time management and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written\nYou will need to be a good team player, be self-motivated and be confident \nHaving experience with direct debit process would be an advantage however this isn’t essential\nMicrosoft Excel skills.\nExcellent investigative skills leading to effective resolutions.\nAbility to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.\nProactive approach to handling queries and providing timely solutions\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to work under deadlines.\nPositive response to change and ability to work well under pressure.\nAnalytical approach to problem-solving.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nFurther information\n\n As well as a competitive salary we offer the following benefits -\n\nCompetitive holiday allowance with the annual option to buy additional days \nDeath in Service benefit of x4 salary\nCompany pension scheme\nVery generous maternity and paternity leave packages\nA flexible benefits package which allows you to add additional benefits to your overall package\nOur benefits portal offers discounts on technology & electronics, cinemas, restaurants, days out, mortgage advice, travel and many more\nReferral schemes \nDiscounted rates on PIB products\nWe offer a first-class employee benefits and welfare package to support our employees with financial management, cycle to work scheme, counselling support, health screening, will writing, menopause support, books, stopping smoking and much more\nWe also offer a wide range of discounts including a kids pass – giving you discount to over 4500 attractions and activities, discounts at hairdressers and beauticians, climate change projects with lots of other options to choose\nAn experienced Learning & Development department to offer study support to enhance your career with us with access to free online courses on top\nBeing a part of our PIB Community Trust, we support fundraising where you can apply for grants from PIB Group towards your chosen charity\n\nWe are proud of our success and growth and have been recognised for many industry awards across our business.
