Directorate: Children and Family Services Section: Children’s Social Care Grade: Level 8 This advert is open to both internal and external applicants The Family and Adolescent Support Team (FAST) is seeking skilled and committed intervention workers to support children in the adolescent stages of their lives to remain at home with their families. The role includes direct work with children, parenting support and crisis intervention. The team offer intensive support as part of a multi-agency plan to work in partnership with children and families to strive for better outcomes for the children involved. The team offers support at the timesit is needed which includes evenings and weekend working. The team work closely with partner agencies in order to combat difficulties concerning child exploitation, gang affiliation, drug use, children missing from home, mental health challenges and family breakdown The team provide support Monday to Friday 09:00 - 21:00.The team also work every weekend on a 4 weekly rota providing support from 09:30-18:00 Amongst the benefits we offer are: Up to 40 days holiday (including 8 days bank holidays) Option to buy extra annual leave High quality reflective supervision Health and wellbeing support Access to staff equality and diversity networks Additional Information We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
