A day in the life of a Murphy People Business Advisor Supporting the People Business Partner, you will be ensuring the team deliver against our People strategy, Engagement plan and annual People process cycle. Guiding and coaching managers to best support their teams across various HR matters, including Health & Wellbeing, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Performance and Absence Management, Investigations and Conduct and Capability cases. Assist with the planning, design and evaluation of ER related initiatives that support the immediate and future organisational strategic goals and being flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation as and when they occur. Ensure that advice to Line Managers is in-line with Company values, policies and procedures, HR best practice plus prevailing legislative and regulatory requirements in order to minimise the risk to the Company. Attending meetings/events at our various locations as required to support People activity, including deputising for the Senior People Business Partner as required. Who We Are Looking For You’ll ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or qualified by experience. First-hand exposure of HR in a commercially oriented business along with generalist HR experience. Proven track record of providing expert ER advice and ER case management. Established experience of coaching and developing managers and senior staff members. Experience of supporting Employee Relations cases, including large scale projects such as TUPE, Acquisitions, Restructuring & Redundancy. Willingness to travel, full driving license is essential.
