Opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a special needs school in Barking and Dagenham.
This special needs school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who have autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties.
This is an opportunity to join a well-run, established and friendly school where you can make a huge difference to the lives of pupils.
There are 2 Full Time posts available from ASAP.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking
Details:
* SEN Teaching Assistant
* Work in a successful School with a friendly and inspiring team
* Primary and Secondary phases
* Support Class Teacher to deliver learning activities
* Monitor and manage students' social and emotional development
* Assist with personal care duties when required
* Supervise students during breaks, lunch and out of school on trips
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding for all children
* Experience in a School setting or Care background / Support Worker would be advantageous
