Ward G10 is a 32 bedded unit situated at West Suffolk Hospital. This newly built unit provides support to mostly medical patients but on occasions, there is a need to provide support to patients who have influenza or Covid virus.
We are looking to recruit full time registered nurses to join our team on G10 and are especially keen to hear from nurses wishing to work both day and night shifts. On G10, you would work as part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
As a registered nurse on G10 you will be part of the nursing team, taking responsibility for the care of a group of patients. You will work with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families to plan effective and appropriate discharges.
You will use your problem-solving skills alongside clinical decision making.
It is a varied job role, where no two days are the same. You will need good organisational and communication skills and be keen to integrate into a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.

Education and qualifications
* NMC Registration
* BLS & ILS trained
* Teaching qualification e.g. ENB 998 or equivalent
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* A1 Assessor course
* ALS
* Preparation for Mentorship
Experience and knowledge
* Willingness to share knowledge
* Awareness of current political/professional issues

* Previous acute experience within the NHS
