The Company:
A fantastic opportunity for an Import Merchandiser to play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working in an extremely fast-paced environment and we require a versatile and dynamic candidate to service their ever-growing customer base of high street, e-tailers and supermarkets.
The Role:
1. Raise, manage and track purchase orders, amending where necessary.
2. Manage the Critical Path with the suppliers and customers to ensure agreed delivery dates are maintained.
3. Check lab dips/strike offs/trims and bulk fabric submissions and send to the customer for approval.
4. Communicate clear detailed approval comments to suppliers.
5. Calculating cost prices through to sell prices whilst maintaining margins.
6. Responsible for the timely delivery of Gold Seal samples to customers.
7. Build strong relationships with High Street retail customers and suppliers - taking appropriate actions to ensure all needs are met.
8. Attend Handover meetings between the Merchandising & Garment Technology teams.
9. Complete customer packaging requirements and send to factory.
10. Ensure correct critical path and summary is sent to the customer as required.
Skills Required:
1. Have at least 3 years' experience within Import Merchandising.
2. Have strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
3. Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
4. Experience of dealing with & resolving issues with High Street customers & Far East factories.
5. Have a clean driving license & be willing to travel to client meetings.
6. Strong communication, planning & organising skills.
7. Can work on own initiative and is focused on achieving results.
8. Can build relationships easily.
9. Meticulous/pays attention to detail.
10. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
