Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager
Location: Enfield, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits: £30k - £65k + Benefits + Commission Scheme
We are working with a prestigious Water Treatment / Water Hygiene client with a strong presence across the London / South East area who are currently recruiting in the South East for a Water Treatment Account Manager. The successful candidate will have experience working for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company within an Account Manager role. You will be managing steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts for longstanding Food & Beverage and Heavy Industry clients. Our client can offer a generous holiday allowance, electric / hybrid vehicle, and a generous commission structure.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Will have experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Industry as a Water Treatment Account Manager.
2. Will have previous experience in an account management role and will have excellent management and leadership skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, closed systems, and water chemistry.
4. Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
5. Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
6. Ability to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
1. Proactively managing and developing a portfolio of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed system accounts for a mixed range of clients.
2. Securing new accounts through referrals and identifying commercial opportunities.
3. Ensuring that KPIs and targets are being met.
4. Upselling and promoting company services to both new and existing clients.
5. Overseeing a team of engineers, organising and/or providing training where required.
6. Working closely with the sales team to ensure projects are running to budget.
7. Attending site to ensure work is being carried out in line with company/client needs.
8. Acting as the first point of contact for clients, dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
9. Attending meetings, ensuring to present the company in a professional manner.
10. Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
