We have an opening for a Social Media Supervisor to join the Disney EMEA Social & Comms team Our team is accountable for leading and delivering all the fantastic promotional campaigns for our local original titles, select general entertainment titles and long running series, including Rivals, Extraordinary, FX's The Bear, Only Murders in The Building, Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Odyssey and 9-1-1 and many more. As well as brand campaigns throughout the year, including Christmas and Summer. Then we'd love to hear from you In this role, the Social Media Supervisor will have direct responsibility for ensuring EMEA markets can deliver their own activations and social content through an established approval process. This role will require you to be in the office 4 days a week. What You Will Do Own social brand campaigns for a range of shows and movies on Disney, working with the wider marketing and comms team to devise and deliver on both platform and campaign strategy. Lead Always-On content creation, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality content that drives engagement and enhances brand attribution across the Disney platforms. Day-to-day work with the Social Coordinator to factor Always On and brand campaign beats into the Disney content calendar and ensure posts are in-line with business priorities. Support cross-company social media priorities and initiatives, driving both strategy and creative direction while working with Studios and other LOBs on major projects and events. Manage the content approval workflow alongside the team intern; coordinate internal partners to ensure published content aligns with brand standards and receives timely approval. Be the point of contact for local EMEA markets, host bi-weekly meetings and act as the bridge between global and local teams, adapting content strategies to fit regional needs whilst still maintaining cohesive brand messaging. Mentor and supervise the team's intern, conduct regular 1:1 meetings, offer feedback, and create opportunities for professional and personal growth. Conceptualise and implement social-first stunts and campaigns that create buzz, drive engagement, and strengthen brand attribution. Report regularly on campaign performance, share insights with wider business and voice recommendations on how to accelerate impact and improve efficiency. Keep up to date with emerging content trends, platform tools etc, to ensure strategy is evolving in-line with the industry, ensuring local EMEA markets and Regional teams are informed too. Required Qualifications & Skills Professional experience in social media marketing departments (client and/or agency). Outstanding written, verbal, and social copywriting skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style. Extensive experience managing social content calendars with a strategic approach. Strong understanding of social media platforms and the UK social landscape, you will know what’s trending each week and be familiar with best practices for each platform. Experience briefing campaign elements to agencies and creative teams, collaborating closely with designers and video editors to deliver campaign assets. Collaborative team-player who can continue to empower and influence others whilst under pressure. Confident and outspoken while being diplomatic and tactful. Ability to sell in ideas, concepts and gain the trust of senior stakeholders. Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environment where cohesiveness and flexibility are key. A love of television and pop culture is essential.
